That's sad that you have a full closet, and yet nothing to wear, Lil. :(

ELEVEN loads of laundry, Beanie? *boggles* That's a shirt-load of clothes!

in fairness two were sheets and stuff, and some of the special cycles weren't full loads, but piles

Your favourite Cons? That's what I always wear when I have to do a lot of walking.

Im worried they won’t be padded enough. My feet don’t do well on flat ground. They have literally become deformed by years of wearing heels. So, yeah, I’m going to take some and see how I do.

Ah, yeah, that could be a problem. But nothing to say you can't put a padded insole in your Cons.

Hi all!

Miss me? It’s been a busy week at work, and balancing spending time with the family in the evenings hasn’t left me with a whole lot of extra time.

I have the weekend left before I fly back to Florida

There was a ton I didn’t read so, i hope that anyone sick feels better, anyone doing good *yay*!

And videos *snort*

:e2bear:

Hey, Bry! :hi:

I don't think anyone expected you'd be online what with such a short time to spend with your family. :)

Enjoy your weekend... and make some good memories to sustain you while you're back in Florida. :evil

Oh, true! I think I have some somewhere, too.

Hi, Bryan! Bye, Bryan!

- - - Updated - - -

Daniel, I would love to party. But alas, that doesn't start for about 24 more hours.

- - - Updated - - -

Sooo...still not completely packed but I have a good excuse. 1) folded laundry 2) cooked food 3) gathered food for the cooler 4) cut all three kids' hair.

- - - Updated - - -

Now my back hurts and I need a break. THEN I will resume packing.

I hate it when my gay boyfriends stand me up! Then I have to go out with my non-gay girlfriends and they're not nearly as fun.

It's Friday!

Everybody party! = D

*ahem* It's Saturday here. :e2tongue:

I really hope the forecast for the weather in Florida is about as accurate as the forecast for here has been for the past couple of days (completely wrong LOL).

:hi:

It was forecast to rain every day of our trip too, Lil, and it only rained once (at night). Hopefully your weather turns out like that!

Hey, BF! :hi: Finished with eyeballs for the day?

It would be good if Lil had a similar weather experience for her holiday as you had for yours.

I've finished with the eyeballs, I've had a 15 minute power nap, and unlike our weather in QLD ... a massive storm's about to hit here. Lots of thunder, and my lights are flickering. I'm gonna go switch off the PC and close the laptop for a bit to be safe (after saving everything!)

I'll be back when it settles down out there (hopefully soon!)

That does not sound like a good storm, BF. Good idea to shut everything down while it's raging. We've had two computers fried by lightning... and now if there's even a rumble, Mr C is ready to turn things off and unplug.

surge protectors can help a little bit but best to shut down if you can though, or unplug and run on battery

Yeah, we do have surge protectors on everything, but the lightning that took out the computers was just way too close. The thunder from it made me jump, and I never jump at thunder. So now we shut down and unplug everything when there's a storm.

Checking in on my phone. Our next door neighbour's place just got hit by lightning! Eek! I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to hear lightning. We both happened to be looking out the window when it struck. Our clocks are all blown, and our landline's dead. There are car and house alarms going off all around us.

Man, I'm glad I turned off and unplugged the computers!

Fun times!

Holy moly! Get off the phone, BF! You shouldn't be on the phone when there's a bad storm either! Yeah, that sizzle when the lightning is so close is freaky.

Definitely a good thing you turned off and unplugged the computers. Hope your fridge didn't get fried!
