Well, I had to do both today and now my hair is wonky. Also, it was dark and I was missing a headlight and I thought I was going to die.
I need a nap. Or caffeine. Or maybe I should go explore the golf course.

That sounds awful. I complain about the cooler weather but I really do like it. Definitely wasn't dressed appropriately for it this morning.
I’m about to take my kid to the school for his very first time acting in a play—Macbeth. He plays a 6’5” biracial King Duncan. I’m excited and nervous for him (and I’ll let you all know how it goes).

Pepper—they didn’t weave in braids after all, his hair is too fine and they just slid out and they didn’t want to glue them. So they said they were gonna get him a wig but never did so I guess he’s just going to use his regular hair. To his relief.

Hey gang. I haven't been around. Pretty busy with study (and buying a car!), but also dealing with a sick budgie. She died yesterday after a few weeks going downhill with a tumour. I took her out to bury her in the desert today, which I think is fitting, cos budgies are desert birds. I found a nice spot on a hill.
I have Melting Brain Syndrome. It happens when it's super hot outside and you decide to boil potatoes, because you know you have a craving for potato salad. Then you get a nice sauna in the house.

So sorry you lost your budgie. I didn't realize they could develop tumors. Nice resting place. I used to go visit my cats at the bottom of the hill. Their ashes are still there, but I'm not anymore.

LadyV, what went so badly today? Mine wasn't great either. I need to look for a new project, but I keep wishing one would fall in my lap. So I did a little work on my website.
And the vet thinks the dog has an allergy. And I realized while at the vets that I haven't given the dog heartworm medicine since August.
