Forgot to chime in with: Yay words! :hooray:

For one thing, the more fiction words, the bigger a chance that I will learn to edit fiction. Speaking of which, I'm off to do my beta reading. Which I'm pretty sure I'm enjoying.

Murph, it is, I guess. To explain my layered reaction to this, I would have to teach you what little I know of internal family systems theory. And you might not want to hear about that . . .

Enjoy the beta reading!

Also, if you don't want to be called Murf, just say so. We can go back to MRF.

Just returned from a flop of a dinner. Was supposed to meet friends for a birthday dinner but I guess I went to the wrong restaurant because they never showed up. I ordered food to go and took it home to feed the kids.

Good for you, Jay! I need to start doing something exercisish.

I sent you an email with a pic of the infinity scarf, worn by the sexiest model you’ve ever seen.

I saw! (and replied) It looks awesome, and the model is stunning.

Texted them but by the time they replied and I realized my mistake, it was getting late so I just came home. I’m bummed because I washed and blew out my hair for them!

Bummer. :(

WOOT! What’s for lunch? Taking the ski cap off the kukaburra?

Gnight sweetness! Sleep well. :LilLove:

Lunch was just a tomato sandwich, yogurt, and raspberries. :) Yep, time to take the toque off the kookaburra. ;P

Was just out discussing locks required by NSW strata regulations on the upstairs windows. At least they'll be the sort we can leave unlocked and still be able to have our windows fully open. If my kids are in danger of falling out a window it would be because they were being silly buggers.

G'night, Lil!

G'night, Bry!

:hi:

Farenheit 451 was banned briefly in some places, IIRC. Longer term, it was censored (all the "hell"s and "damn"s blacked out).

BF, do you think she'll notice you've replaced it? My mom would and would chalk it up to something nefarious. She tends to be a bit paranoid, and at 93, she doesn't censor herself much anymore.

Heh. My mum's younger than that. She'll both notice and think it's hilarious. :) I didn't get a chance to go slinky shopping today, though, so I'm yet to find out.

Meanwhile ... nicknames. Much like relationships, they can't be forced. One'll come in time. Personally, I'm leaning "Ando", but that's coz I'm Aussie, and we end most nicknames with "O". Steve-o. Damo. Dave-o. Murf kinda makes me want to call you Smurf. :D

The dog sounds great.

Boo for headaches, Bryan. But hooray for words, everyone!

Oh, and Jay? BEANIE!

What's going in its place? Sunnies? A sun visor? Zinc?

In my whole life, I've never posted here before.

Hey, mccardey's in the reppies thread! Puppy in the house, y'all.

:hi:

Help me convince Jay that the thing on her head is called a beanie, would ya? None of this Canadian "toque" rubbish.

Y'know, I really missed my opportunity. You know those words that go under your user name? I should have totally put 'It's a toque'. Too late now. *g* Next year.
