So here's another boring "hello, I'm new here" thread. Well, if I'm being realistic, probably just a single post with no replies. Ah well...
So I've been writing short stories (mostly pastiche fantasy and hard-to-categorise-not-really-fantasy odd fiction) and attempts at poetry for a rather long time. Favourite authors are Tolkein, Pratchett and Gaiman though I'm currently reading Zusak's The Book Thief. What else? Ummm... I'm English (obviously - see spelling of 'favourite'), born, raised and still live in wonderful Salford - home of the BBC and Manchester United, neither of which are organizations that I have much interest in. Spent about 3 years studying in Gateshead and a couple abroad, but apart from that it's Salford all the way...
