My first thought was that this could also be a great thing for smaller faith communities that may not be able to maintain​ a big space of their own, or congregations that may otherwise have to rely on renting a community center or something.

Hmm...I wonder if they've got enough land left for a Gurdwara? We'd join them in a heartbeat. Assuming there are enough Sikhs in Omaha.

It would be a great idea for small communities and congregations. And actually, I know that churches have housed synagogues and vice versa in a variety of places.
