Frequent lurker joins awesome won't BELIEVE what happens next!

Hello everybody! I've been checking out this forum for a while now and it's seriously one of the most useful and active communities I could find. None of my other friends really know the trials and tribulations of us writers so it's nice to be in such good company. I'm excited to start querying my first "real" novel but I've never done this before. I decided to finally join the forums since I'm out of my element and need to learn about the process from others.

Thank in advance for answering my stupid questions and laughing at my bad jokes

Welcome to the forum, it is a very nice and wonderful place.
Yup other people seldom have an idea of what writers go through, and it is nice to sometimes interact with others in the same field.

Welcome, Neil. I like your avatar. My master's dissertation was on repetition from Picasso to Stein to Hemingway.

Yep, most here have helped with my never-ending questions, especially most moderators. However, by my count, the limit on bad jokes has been six.
