Tomorrow is the special election to fill Montana's single congressional seat. It should be a slamdunk (pun intended) for the Republican candidate, Greg Gianforte, since Trump won in Montana over Clinton 56.5% to 36%.
The democratic candidate, Rob Quist is making it a lot closer than that, but the odds are still slim that he will succeed.
Today, Mr. Gianforte became annoyed at a reporter's questions and bodyslammed him to the floor breaking his glasses.

This is the sort of thing that can decide a close election, but this is Montana. I would guess it will do nothing but increase Gianforte's standing. His office spun the incident thusly:
It's about time those liberal reporters with their annoying questions get what's coming to them.

“It’s unfortunate that this aggressive behavior from a liberal journalist created this scene at our campaign volunteer BBQ.”
