Four days ago I canned rhubarb jam.
28 Hours afterwards, a jar popped and the lid came up.
Just now, about 4 days later, another seal popped.
I boiled them in a hot water bath, and they sealed just fine.
Any idea what I did wrong?
ETA: I'm seeing that it's only happening on the jars where the lids came with them. They were decorated. I'm wondering if those jar seals were maybe too old or defective?
I might just re-do that batch and re-seal them.
