    [Publisher] Books for Pleasure

This is supposed to be a small online Canadian bookstore, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them or had any experiences with them

Although they do act as a bookstore, they're primarily a POD/ebook "publisher".

Books for Pleasure is a Canadian book publisher dedicated to showcasing the work of new authors while protecting their copyrights and paying top royalties.

Inspired by a Canadian author, the company was formed in March, 2000, for new authors seeking an alternative to the low royalties and all-encompassing demands of large publishers. Books for Pleasure also assists previously published and self-published authors, acting as a non-exclusive channel for distribution of their books.

The Books for Pleasure authors' contracts are pioneering "fairness" in the publishing industry. Written by an Ontario copyright lawyer, our contracts protect the authors' rights as well as the publisher's, a concept that was insisted upon by Books for Pleasure.
Yet another "we're changing the industry!!!11!!" operation. I'd avoid them.
