Stopping in to give a recommendation for by (by far) favorite beef jerky. Unlike what most of us can get in our grocery stores (unless you live in certain regions of the country), New Mexico style jerky is dry and crunchy. In my opinion https://www.jerkybyart.com is the best of that bunch but their are other good ones as well. It also comes in some great flavors. My favorites are the Green Chile, Red Chile, and Habanaro (warning, it's hot).
Maybe subconsciously part of the reason that I pick so many research projects in New Mexico is so I can keep returning for the food. Don't get me started on New Mexico style Mexican food.
