Location
Nowhere, man
Just finished reading a script where one of the prominent stage directions was the word "continuous." As in Barney's Living Room--Continuous. What would continuous mean in this context, rather than DAY or NIGHT.

I presume you mean it's in the slug. It means the scene has moved from the previous location without stopping, basically. Depends on what you're writing, to an extent (if it's a show, multi vs. single cam can have different rules for that sort of thing), but in general, like if you mean someone is talking about something to one person, say, and then the conversation picks up in another location, like the person has been going on the entire time, or is telling the same story to another person the same way. Or if someone runs out of an office after someone and is then running after the person on the street. Same scene, moving location as a part of the continuous action.

In Final Draft, it's, "CONT'D."
