Motivate me!

Hi all, I'm new around here...obviously, haha.

I'm a highly self-critical writer who has written several short stories and poems, finished a novel, and has several half-finished novels...but can't seem to find the motivation to finish editing things and send them off to publishers! This forum looks awesome and active; I'm really hoping to garner some motivation here. Who knows? Maybe I can send something off before the end of summer, fix my finished novel by the end of fall, and write another one by the end of the year.

Anyway, I'm happy to have found this form! Hopefully I can actively share and motivate you all as well. :)

This is definitely the place to be for motivation! Try critiquing others' work around here, it'll give you some insight/motivation on how to go about editing your own stuff.

Hi Nicotine. Obviously getting the first draft done is a major step. But then there's the editing. And afterward, queries. Stay excited and look around at what others are doing here-it's certainly motivating for me.
