For plotting, I find myself, wanting to drop the reader into action, at chapter one, say close to the midpoint turnaround. IE the story is told from that POV where the protagonist is about to get into trouble, while throwing in some backstory, reminiscing, etc.
In chapter two or three, the narrative would go back to the beginning, and start a more linear type of story telling.
What are some well written books you have read that are plotted in a similar way?
