Cuisinart Blade Recall

I got my first food processor Christmas '15 -- and today I found out the model number dings it for problems with the metal blade...

Thanks for the reminder. I put in for my replacement blade in January and got a reply that they were swamped. But here it is nearing the end of April and I've got nothing but a layer of dust on the Cuisinart.

I got my replacement blade yesterday, seven months after my request, with a return address for the ConAir Corporation. They make hair dryers, and I guess replacement blades.

Yeah, I still haven't received mine (sent my request in April -- see 1st post)...worth it to call/e-mail to check? My mini-processor's bowl cracked so I need to replace that now too.
