This, too, will pass. You might try surfing the web for interesting prompts. That sometimes works for me. Or go on a movie-watching binge, and take a character from one movie, a setting from another, etc. and try brainstorming a tale with your significant other out loud. Make it really silly. Like: Okay, Beauty doesn't go to a castle, she gets wrapped up in a heist, like with Oceans11. The she finds out people are trying to kill her, like in Red. That sort of thing. For some reason, being completely ridiculous helps me.

Or there's always chocolate therapy.

*sets out plate with fudge, brownies, Rollos, Hershey bars--no redeeming nutritional value whatsoever*

A serious suggestion that has worked on occasion for me: Take your main characters and place them in a scene completely unrelated to your "plot" or "plan", and have them interact within that setting. Say, they go to a coffee shop in the morning, and it's crowded and a heated discussion is happening at the table next to them, a dispute among four other people about whether or not ancient aliens designed and help build Stonehenge. It might not become part of your story, but it might reinvigorate your brain and re-engage the thought process about what is to happen in your story.
