R.I.P. Colin Dexter

Totally gutted to read of Colin Dexter's death. He was one of my favourite authors. I was lucky to hear him speak at a Festival of Literature quite a few years back. He was a courteous and modest man who seemed genuinely surprised that so many people had turned up to hear him talk.
