Note: I use Firefox, in case that's pertinent.
Take a look at this page from Cheezburger.com, which illustrates my problem. After you've stopped salivating, hover the cursor over the pictures and text links, and note what happens in the lower left corner. Most of the time, the URL will show up. The most notable exception is the text links crediting their source. This happens with outside links on other Cheezburger.com pages, too. I suspect that Cheezburger.com isn't the only site that does this.
Chances are, clicking on sydneysmashcakes won't send me to some horrid porn/phishing site, but it would nice to see an URL to make semi-sure. In theory, I could right-click, copy link location, and paste it into the address bar. Right-clicking on almost everything else gives me that option. I get that option with the ads, for cryin' out loud! I don't get that option with sydneysmashcakes.
Is there any way around this problem, or am I stuck with this? It's not the end of the world, but it's really pressing my OCD buttons.
Thanks!
