you martyr and shine.
For some reason, Chrome frequently stops responding when I have these AW forums open in a window. I do mean almost every time I visit here. It rarely does that with other sites I frequent, but I'd say 8 out of 10 times I'm here, my browser will stop responding -- even if I''m just reading and not really trying to "do" anything.

I use the Grammarly app on my browser and it seems to hate AW too, especially if I'm using "quick reply" instead of "advanced." It makes the cursor jump around as I'm typing, which botches up my replies.

Do the AW tech gods know of some settings or something I can change in Chrome to help it play nice here?

Troubleshooting browsers is tricky, because there are so many other factors that often go into it. For starters, it's probably best to specify:

What OS you are running (Windows 7, Windows 10, Mac OSX, Ubuntu...etc.)
What version of Chrome you are running (current version is 56.0.2924.87)
Any extensions you may have in place (I am a minimalist, but have several myself including Acrobat, Application Launcher for Google Drive, Cisco, IBA Opt-Out, and Web Developer)
I'd also recommend looking at your entire setup by opening a tab and typing in: chrome://settings/

Hi
Chrome is prone to " not responding" problems . It has program compatibility issues , if you are ruining Rapport , that will stop Chrome , There are other programs that will cause problems . have you made any changes recently. If you don't know. The three dots , top right hand corner is a drop down and at the bottom is Help . Have a look there . Another option is switch to opera, it is a simplified version of Chrome , but sadly the simplification has it's own problems.

Devil, I'm also using Chrome and Grammarly, on a Windows 7 laptop. I'm not seeing major issues that I can attribute to AW.

I've just experienced a problem with trying to print AW from Chrome. My desktop says I've sent eleven pages, but the printer says it has received only three, which is all it prints.

That's a problem with your computer and Chrome, not AW.

Can you save the AW pages as .pdf files?

That will give you an easier way to recover if the connection between your printer and your desktop doesn't perform, since you'll have local copies.

Here's how to print or save to PDF files for Windows.

It's built in for Macs.

Worked fine with IE, so it's some issue with Chrome.

Chrome's been updated many times since this thread was started. Make sure it's up to date. I have current version at:

Version 61.0.3163.79 (Official Build) (64-bit)
