Crisply crease
along the fold, half-fold
bend again and tuck-in
the flap, smooth – give a

rub across a 90⁰
angle, flip the finger up,
. . . . . . . .. .give no lip but feather
. . . . fan and fluff both corners
until you
are happy
with your
origami love

I mis-read this as "original love" and was going to chime in with "what a quaint/romantic idea", but after reading the poem, like this even better.

Nicely done - it actually evokes the passion and skills needed to really pull off origami art well in a way that the reader can appreciate.

Thanks for the comments! I also meant this as a comment on how some will bend themselves within a relationship. ++ 2nd stanza shape!!
