Cool Seeking scriptwriters for webtoons [pay negotiable]

    Hi everyone!

I am a creator/writer looking for assistant writers for a range of webtoons (mobile digital comics) projects. For an idea of what webtoons are, check out the 2 biggest platforms: http://www.webtoons.com/en/ or http://www.lezhin.com

I recently published with Lezhin (http://www.lezhin.com/en/comic/everydayzen) and plan to develop a range of longer, narrative stories with them that can sell.

At this point, I am matching artists and writers with story concepts in development. Webtoons are episodic, so this works like a TV series production: I have the concepts, general storylines, and core scripts, but need additional writing to fill in the ‘meat’ and add additional plotlines/characters to make stories longer.
    Payment: yes, to be negotiated.

Below is a list of concepts in development (details withheld… for obvious reasons).

    i. Various stories in fantasy setting (low-fantasy, high fantasy, etc.)

ii. Various stories in futuristic setting (utopian, cyberpunk, space opera etc.)

iii. Action (against demons/monsters) in modern setting

    iv. Romance in modern setting

    v. Mystery (involving cult, murder) in modern setting

If you’d like to be part of these projects, do write in to let me know which one you’d like to work on, and send samples of past similar work (scripts).

Ideally, you should be familiar with the style, format, and pacing of webtoons, or have written for comics/TV/film.

A little about me: My past work can be seen on the first page here: http://johnytay.net. Check them out to see if you can work with the kind of story concepts that I have.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
    Johny
