It can be a desk... was actually advertised that it could double as a
writing desk... no kidding. Even came with an ink well.
In reality there's a sewing machine inside. It's a 'rare' cabinet, and collectable. Took me 2 years to find one I could afford.

It's weird. Old sewing machines aren't worth much. People don't sew anymore. There's a handful of old machines that collectors or hard core quilters will go after, but it's limited. Singer models 201, 301, 401, 500, 503 and 221, Pfaff model 130, and Necchi Supernovas are high up on the list right now. Everything else has a limited resale value, which is too bad really. The collector market is ignoring some excellent machines.
If you ever think you need a machine, lemme know which craigslist is local and I'll check it and letgo and find you the best deal. =)
