I like these Aboriginal American names I've been honored with, like this and Porter's Swatiwatha. *preens*

Kells, does it have a meaning? Like, She Who Never Wears Shoes?

Yes, but not: She who steps in deep doo-doo in heels.

So what would my name be then? I've stepped in cat poop, dog pop, chicken poop--slipped in doggy diarrhea once or twice. I've stepped in cat barf, dog barf, dead mouse, regurgitated dead mouse, dead bird and slipped in dead opossum guts and wiped out in the grass. And I accomplished all that while barefoot. Nothing like maggot-covered guts between your toes.

Does it slice, dice, repair leaks, cook on both sides with no stick, and are operators standing by? (Probably sitting by, somewhere in Bangladesh - or even south Africa.)

Nope. It just sits there and looks... like a stone. But it's house-trained, quiet and very well-behaved. It doesn't mind if you pet it, either. :D

Kinda like some moderators around here.

Accept for the petting part.

And hey, my American friends - I wish you all a happy, safe and peaceful Thanksgiving. Which means don't about politics or sport at the dinner table. :D

Or the current politics IN sports.

And be careful not to get food poisoning, guys. Thanksgiving is always the worst day of the year for that. Cook your tofurkey all the way through!

(Actually, what I meant was more people get food poisoning on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year.)

First two of four pies are in the oven.

Like Ted, I'll make it, but probably not eat it.

That is basically everything I make at Thanksgiving. But I guess cooking for others is its own reward. Like the reward of a sink full of dishes afterward. :(
