Hi! My author pen-name is Melissa Abigail. I'm new here. Introductions make me terribly uncomfortable so I will keep this short.
I joined because it's nice receiving support from a writer's community. I have published one novel, self-published. Not because I didn't think I could get it traditionally published, but because I like the idea of autonomy.
Most days I ebb between bursting pride and being convinced I'm not a writer, I'm making a huge mistake and should probably quit right now. Nonetheless, like so many others, I do it because I love it...dreams and such, blah blah. I started with one story I really wanted to tell (fictional) and decided that story could be many stories. And now here I am, calling myself an "author" or something? Weird. So weird.
Anyway, hope to learn something new and share what I've learned. I'm bogged down with so much so while I doubt I'll be very active here, I would still like to very much be a part of this community.
