Word count is now 120,716 so I must have written 3,747 words. The total is deceiving because there are chunks of text, written long ago, that I plan to remove. But first there are more chapters to write. The end is in sight though.
I made it to 43,500 words this week. Adding in 5,155 words.
My critique partner has just pointed out to me that one of my two main MCs doesn't have any investment, and the discussion in the chapter she just finished is a bunch of dead weight. So, I have my editing cut out for me LOL.

101 pages is a LOT of editing. I am looking forward very much to the edit of my current WIP. Maybe I'll find out what my girl/woman is all about.
OH Shhht. I just realized I'm posting in the wrong forum. No wonder I never found this place before, and now I don't know how I stumbled across it in the first place. I write fantasy. Too bad. I liked these little progress reports. The company was nice, too.

I deleted 5,934 words
I added 2,199 words
Current word count = 116,962
The deletions were more difficult than the additions. My calculations are off a bit, but close enough.
Having company this weekend so no more writing until Tuesday.

It was probably about 250 words more because I started down a specific path, and then decided, nope. Not going to happen and went in a new direction.

Just a little head's up. I won't be able to post ribbons until I find a new photo hosting site. Photobucket has decided to stop third party hosting unless you pay $400. Not happening, so for now it will be smilies for weekly winners.
Last night I reached 20,000 words in my work in progress. I've spent far longer working on this book than I should have, so it feels good to be making progress.

AWARDS?? You mean I get a prize if I write the most words? Didn't get that. Little slow, I guess. My week doesn't end until midnight tonight. I'll have a plethora of new words to count by then.
