Hi, I'm Annie! I love comic books because they perfectly combine my love for writing and drawing. I just graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with my B.F.A. in Sequential Art and I'm currently earning my teaching certificate. Since I'm no longer a student, I joined this forum because I'd still like to have a community where I can bounce ideas around with people and offer advice and support. Speaking of which, if anyone could direct me to where to post about brainstorming and getting feedback on ideas, I'd really appreciate it! I usually need the most help in the early stages of just trying to bridge story beats or fix plot holes. Of course, I realize I will probably have to post more in order to get ideas on my own crazy stories, but I look forward to helping out others in the meantime!

Welcome to AW, AnnieCox, and wishing you much success in all your ventures. There is a Comic Book & Graphic Novel Site here you might visit.. I always wanted to write and illustrate comic books, but never did. I went down the fiction writing road instead. Although I still think some of my characters should be in comic books (LOL). Oh, here's the Link to comic books & graphic novels http://absolutewrite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?89-Comic-Books-and-Graphic-Novels

Welcome to AW. I wish that I could draw. When I was in high school, my art teacher yelled out loud in front of the whole class, "Whose primary one drawing is this?" while waving around my artwork. Haha!
