Greg Lake, who fronted both King Crimson and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, has died aged 69.
One of the founding fathers of progressive rock, the British musician is known for songs including In the Court of the Crimson King and his solo hit I Believe in Father Christmas.
He died on Wednesday after "a long and stubborn battle with cancer", said his manager.

Godspeed, Greg. I Believe in Father Christmas is on early this year.

you martyr and shine.
I just want to give this lonely little one-post thread some love. Greg Lake had one of the finest voices in rock and roll. I am kind of* obsessed with him, early prog, ELP, and King Crimson (also The Nice, but that's a discussion for a Keith Emerson thread).

I could watch him singing The Sage all day, every day. So, so pretty.

Also the acoustic improve for Take a Pebble.

Welp, there goes my productivity for the day. I'll be over at YouTube if anybody needs me.

*OK, I admit it. Straight up obsessed.

I know we should not be astonished when people die in their late 60s, but damn it...
