I'll probably do it again. It was fun reading everyone else's stories.

    Thread necromancy? Cool, Cool. XD

Can't wait for Sisyphus! I love this challenge. The stress is fun stress and it helps knowing I'm not alone! I mean, if you have external stress certainly sit it out, but a certain amount of freaking out about Sisyphus is normal. I get super stressed and pull my hair out, trunk what I have and start over two or three times, and nearly ALWAYS need the extension even though I always start early. According to what someone posted previously about having trouble, every one of my years could be counted as a bad year. I wouldn't say that though because I got a story out of it each year! I actually look forward to Sisyphus more than NaNo. :-)

To those who are worried about participating because you're worried about disappointing your giftee, don't be. Most people are just ecstatic that somebody took the time out to write a story for them.

Yet again I didn't complete anything this year other than my Sisyphus. I'm not that bothered about it anymore. My NaNo project is taking up a lot of my attention. I'm taking a more organized approach this time, and hopefully it will pay off and I will actually complete this monster.

I did not want to ride that (sparkle-corn) goat train, but then y'all had to go and Lovecraftian stuff to it. So, um ... choo choo!

(I'm gonna have a hard time not requesting cosmic horror/voidpunk as my prompt now.)

WHY do they have to RIDE the goats??? :O WHY can't the goats have a little agency of their own??? WHY must we always do this to our innocent goats, force them into roles of hard labour as mere beasts of burden??? WHAT MADNESS IS THIS!!! :'(

Probably the pirates, since the space ninjas will have to side with the goats.

Is it weird that the talk about space goats gave me an idea for the characterization of a certain character in the eventual continuation of my previous Sisyphus, "Space Elves"?

What am I saying? Nothing is weird around here.

You asked a forum full of writers where you could go with a crazy idea and didn't expect to get a ton of crazy responses? :
