Hey everyone! I'm Scott. Just wanted to introduce myself on here. I joined because I love to write to destress, and because there's a few discussions that I could weigh in on.

I'm from the US, currently in a military occupation. My SO and I are long distance, and writing is one of the ways we often connect despite being 100s of miles apart.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome to AW, and thank you for your service. I had several "unaccompanied" assignments during my Army career, including those awful TDYs in the middle of the night, so I hear you. Back then we didn't have emails, though. We had something called MARS, but it was so busy it was hard to get a spot to call home. Ah, but those days are long gone, thankfully. Again, welcome, and good luck with your writing.
