Anyone? Day 2, and I'm enjoying these already.

Look higher. Loop
Or stop with the acrobatics and just look up.

a black block
Ok, except where that was supposed to be a blotch.

So much as a great thick stalk can write,
flailing to write herself
At least nobody's writing in agony (yet).

The sort of thing I as a green figh might have done.
1) Yes, she did mean fish, not fruit, and 2) no, this is not Dr. Seuss.

but still it stabled like a betrayal
Never trust a horse.

two quick steps plunged me down into the insulting dark.
I didn't know the ocean could be so rude.

Not even the aether shows such shifting drak.
Either I've just discovered a new magical beastie, or the night sky is cutting ties with that insulting ocean.

like fairly-land
It's kinda magical, somewhat weird things happen.

He checkled

Judging from their height, I bet they were seniors. Judging by their loose ties and general attitude like they couldn’t give any less of a fuck...

My male main character apparently judges people far more than I expected.

I'm sure I'll be back to this thread once I read through what I've written this weekend. Whenever I write fast, I always end up with some mistakes that leave me facepalming.

Personally I think some of these are gold. Who wouldn't want to evaportate, for example? And "Insulting Dark" sounds like a band name (I called it)

Alas, I fix typos as I go... but tomorrow I think I'll leave them in so I can contribute to this amazing thread. I hammered out a few this morning that made me tilt my head sideways at the screen before fixing them, so I bet I'll show up with some real gems

I was just attempting to describe a happy little girl by saying, "The girl beamed."

My fingers, which have been rebelling on me from the start, decided it should be, "The girl beans."

Go for it!

I actually fix them as I go also, but I copy the funny ones to another document first. One of my favorite parts of NaNo.

"It was a book. A boot with a foot in it. A food that belonged to a woman floating in the darkness."

Boot.
Foot.
Also fragments.

Bah!

This should be a new word, and it should mean "what happens when someone stops answering your texts because they've hooked up with a bunch of other people and don't have time to get back to you."

Which is just dandy when you write romances.

I think it's the close proximity of the i, o, and p keys on a standard US English QWERTY keyboard. Or I've just trained myself to misspell it every feckin' time.

Had trouble with people coming out as poeple or pepole on Nov. 4. Thankfully, haven't needed to type people too often on Nov. 5.

I'll have to go through my manuscript and see what gems I've written.

"he took a seta"

"please have a seta"

every single time i want to write seat, it becomes a seta. 'Seta' shall now mean fancy chair.

The coolest little capital
"And, let's face it, all that muscle and strutting can turn a dork’s head." Or a girl's head, even.

Scrivener for iPhone is fantastic, but it doesn't wipe out the effects of fat thumbs + auto-correct...

I really like "insulting dark." Not even sure what you meant there. But I like the concept of darkness being insulting.
It was supposed to be "insulating dark"... Not the greatest description, but the one letter difference does make it more fun.
