Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Recall

Living on the edge here. I got one of these phones about two weeks ago and I've been charging it overnight on top of a pile of flammable material next to a gas can and a box of dynamite. This morning I walked into a meeting and held it up. "Back off! I've got a Note 7 and I'm not afraid to charge it!"

Seriously, I'm totally bummed. This is the best phone I've ever owned and now I'm walking around with a potential incendiary bomb in my pocket. This is not my definition of 'multiple-use.' I guess I'll have to wait for the recall before I turn it in. In the meantime I'll have to charge it in a metal box or something. If my wife finds out, she'll freak.

The first smartphone I've ever had and I was a day or so away from going in to the upgrade from Galaxy s5 to the Note 7. Was pretty excited about getting new toys. :(

I hope it doesn't take too long for them to figure out the problem.

I thought I saw that this problem was specific to South Korea and not effecting any other country than there. US and European phones should be fine.

ETA: Ah, CNN is reporting something different than USAToday. That explains it.
