I can't see the images for some reason but checking out HFPhilly's thread, the issue seems to lie in the gold numbers. Gold has never been a significant part of the Flyers' uniforms. Gold may have appeared on shoulder badges here and then but nothing of significance.

There's nothing wrong with them, imo.

Any change would get some segment of the Philly fans irate. They'll basically bitch and moan about anything. That's why they're the best, most pleasant fans in the NHL.
