Question about the Promoting your work Forum

I found a forum where you can share links of your work, announce that you are published, and congratulate people on their new projects. I noticed that I can reply to threads but I cannot post a new thread. It said for "active members" but I was wondering if anyone had any information on whether that means there is a post number requirement or certain time spent on the community. I would to be able to share my first project with everyone because I am so proud of it and could not have done it without this wonderful community of people.

I had to take a break from the site for a while, but I am hoping to come more often.

Any information would be appreciated.
