I recently got an email from the editor of Page Street Publishing because I have a blog about YA publishers accepting unagented submissions that are advance paying publishers. They distribute through MacMillan. They have recently announced a YA fiction program so you can now submit your YA fiction.

I think it's worth looking into.

If anyone has any news/reporting on them, it would be greatly appreciated!

That's awesome Marissa! Let us know how it goes.

I queried them on the 21st of June. Haven't heard anything yet. At least it's not a rejection yet. lol Good to know they respond in a timely manner.

I got a full request just now. I submitted back in June (which was a while ago, but better late then never right??)

I was wondering what happened to your full Marissa and Elizabeth. If you have any updates, I would love to hear them.

They have a new children's editor, Kristen Nobles. I sent a picture book on 3/24 and got an enthusiastic request for an R&R on 3/27.

Lisa, that's lovely to hear, best of luck with them acquiring!:) Everyone else too, hope it's good news for you as well.
Kristen was the Art Director for Candlewick (Walker book group) for many, many years. Candlewick themselves have always been generous with their replies to Illustrators submitting, just a great group. I'm certain she has taken that respect of the creators to her new position!

Congrats, Lisa! I know my agent has pitched my next book to their YA editor :)
