now
and now
I'm here
I am
the wind
I am
the blue sky
I am also
a grandiloquent accumulate
of me
I collect sunlight
until the rain
absconds with it
birds fly
right up there
grey clouds
a plane of air
above their wings
grey parts
the blue and gold pause
and permits rain
gulls return
panting to shore
driftwood sighs
like a boat beached
I stay
rain soaked
looking for the cupped shells
at the feet of the sea -
without longing
for a dry city street
and now
I'm here

a grandiloquent accumulate
of me
I collect sunlight
until the rain
