Senora -- I have gotten an awesome note from her that she loved it and that Sandy is going to read it over the weekend. I certainly have my hopes up!

Anyone hear back from Taylor at all this month, submission wise or query? Her twitter's been kind of dead.

Taylor's had our full since late July. We've sent a couple nudges with no response. From what I've heard from one of her clients, she's overloaded with work. I imagine trying to juggle being an agent and an assistant is really, really tough. As a former assistant myself, I know how time consuming that can be. But her non-responsiveness is killing us because at the onset, she said she loved our partial. We haven't heard since.

Wanted to update -- Jill ultimately passed on my project. I received an offer of rep from another agent and passed this along to her. She said while she loved the project and my voice, they thought the market was too crowded right now.

In the end, I was fine with it because I already had an offer. But this one would have hurt a lot more if I didn't. :)

Well, congrats on your offer!

Yes, congrats! An offer is fantastic news and I'm sure it more than softened the blow of the R:)

In the meantime, we are still waiting and wondering. We've heard that we aren't the only ones having some technological problems getting messages to Taylor so we're a tad worried that she hasn't even seen our most recent ones. We know she got our MS back in July so that's good but, other than that we're flying blind. Fingers crossed and hoping to escape the cyber monster and hear from her soon!

An Update: Lindzy1954 and I got our rejection the other day. It was personalized but offered no real feedback. She said she agonized over her decision and that we were on the right track, but that in the end it just wasn't right for her.

So sorry, Lindzy and Julie! Sad to read this, as I know personally how hard full rejections can be.

You'll find that right agent -- if you keep believing in yourself and your work and don't give up. I know it's said over and over again, but agents' tastes are subjective, and any writer with an offer of representation could show you a slew of rejections which paved the way.

Her agonizing over it is a good sign.

We're all cheering you on, and you'll get there!

Hooray for you, Epiphany!

SDLA is a stellar agency.

Wishing you and your novels all the best!

And I'm handing out cake! Happy dancing + cake = crumbs and a mess, but who cares! : )

(I know when I see regdog's name on a post on either the the index page or B&BC that probably, somewhere, an angel is getting his wings.)

Congratulations Epiphany! Your hard work paid off!!!!

Does any one know if Taylor has an auto response to equeries? I know Natalie does, but I didn't get one from Taylor and am now wondering if I should resend.

Hi everyone! I just checked in with Taylor about her auto-response, and she said that she just recently noticed it's not working. Soooo....she says she's pretty sure all email is getting through, but if you haven't heard anything after a few weeks, feel free to send another email checking in to make sure she received it.

Hope this helps, and GOOD LUCK! :)
