Cory passed away on Tuesday at the age of 74. Back in the late '60s and early '70s, even the older kids in my neighborhood -- who were mostly into CCR, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and The Doors -- always thought Three Dog Night was a really cool "group". Me, too.

Here's Cory front & center in live performances of "Mama Told Me Not to Come" and "Try a Little Tenderness".

Damn. I really liked that group.
RIP

“She was reading in a magazine about the aborigines in Australia,” Wells recalled in the recent interview with the Bowling Green newspaper. “Where they end up at night, they take a dog to keep them warm. The Australians got a hold of that and said it was a ‘three dog night.’”
