Hello from NZ!

Hi all,

I'm signing in from New Zealand to join the community after lurking for a bit.

Most of my writing has been on my blog and I finally mustered up the courage to write my YA/NA Fantasy novel. A little on it's way now at nearly 8000 words

It's a great challenge so far but thought it time to immerse myself a little deeper and find like-minded people to chat with and learn from as I go. Where better then to do that then on a forum right?

Also, I drink my tea with milk and sugar. Unless it's green tea as that would undoubtedly taste funny...

What part of New Zealand? We'll be sailing back there in a month or so.

Strong is good, though not a big fan of bitter.. And yay on coming out right? Or ehh,.. you know.. I meant de-lurking

Initially, like most people sailing in from the tropics we'll be arriving in Opua. We'll spend a month or so in Northland, but we plan to be in Auckland before Christmas.

Ahh the Bay of Islands.. nice! Up north is great too

We tend to go up that direction during holidays. Specifically Ahipara.

I hope you have a fantastic Christmas here. Definitely beats the Christmas we have planned this year (heading to Holland to visit family). We shall be freezing our arses off :e2smack:
