I did submit in the last few days, so I'm not surprised that they've taken a long time to get to mine. They've got a lot of responsibilities as a publisher. Reading through the slush isn't always at the top of their list.

So if they keep going at their previous rate, it should all be over by the end of September at latest. Urk.

Regrettably not - I'm on holiday. Saying that, I guess the AR guys really need a holiday too! Here is a token sun.

Thank you for posting that news update, PeteMC! I was starting to lose hope that I'd get any kind of response. I'm amazed that they've requested fulls on only about 1% of the submissions... Ouch. Not holding out much hope here, but it'll be good to have an answer eventually. (Just hopefully not like another whole month of eventually. )

Got my R on Friday night. Never mind, the new book is coming along very nicely.

I pretty much went in with the assumption that I'd get a rejection (statistically speaking, that's the most likely outcome, even if you're a good writer). So anything else would have been a pleasant surprise. As it is, it's nice to feel I can move on.

I may go with self-publishing, but I don't quite feel at the right place to do so right now. There's a lot going on in my life at the moment, and I've barely done any writing lately.
