I'm going with both the coerced bible verse writing and the forced marriage are a problem. The judge shouldn't be a judge.

I'm still flabbergasted by this. And I still don't get why he did it. Even if I disagree with someone and I think their reasons are dumb, I can usually see some sort of twisted logic. Not here.

I'm a Christian and this makes no sense to me, either. If marriage is sacred, it shouldn't be forced. If the Bible is a holy book, it shouldn't be used for punishment. Just... what was he thinking? It's kinda frustrating to see people applying religion in ways like this.

Tyler is so close to where I grew up that I used to work there, spend my weekends there, and do a lot of my shopping there. If anyone in Tyler isn't "aware" of Christianity, they must be deaf, blind, and being held forcibly in a basement... and even then, I doubt it.

And Christianity means forcing people to get married and write religious statements. Good to know.

As ridiculous as I find the judge, I find it even more ridiculous that there are actually some people who agree with him.

Marriage isn't a punishment. It's a sentence - a life sentence.
