That was a brilliant match! Bad luck to Heather who played really well. Well done Serena who is a fighter if nothing else.

But she is going to have to pull herself together in the next round. It's getting to the sharp end.

Heather played the game of her life and could have won, probably would have won against a different player. She's said that her ambition is to be in the top twenty (her current ranking is 59) and as Serena said in her post-match interview, on this form that's maybe under-ambitious.

Silly American time difference. I missed Isner's quick fall, and am just now tuning in to what looks like a pretty interesting Federer match.

I turned over from that as the commentators were doing my head in. They mentioned that big serve about 84 times. Yeah so, he has a big serve. Whoopy doo.

Turned out the Fed match was only briefly exciting. Otherwise it was business as usual for the champ.

Tsonga is always so off and on with his play. It's interesting to watch.

Tsonga is in trouble. I had him going into next week for certain. Good job I didn't put money on it.

It's all going Tsong.

OK, I'll stop doing this now.

While I wouldn't write off Serena, my money is on Petra Kvitova retaining her title, and so being the first woman not called Williams successfully to defend the Wimbledon title since Steffi Graf in 1996. Kvitova has been blowing her opponents off court so far: two matches, only three games lost and total playing time of 92 minutes!

I just jinxed her, didn't I?

Bloody hell, she has! Well done, Jelena Jankovich!

Eyeblink just terminated her Wimbledon. Nobody say anything positive about Murray.

Yeah, just reach over and gag Eyeblink, quick.

That was my first time seeing Kvitova play. She looked kind of tired.

Also, I have NEVER seen anything the size of Karlovic on a tennis court. Bloody hell. Kept expecting him to dunk a lob shot or something.

The way Murray is playing right now I'm not sure even Eyeblink can jinx him out.
