Pretty easy case to decide but important.

Medical marijuana patients will now be able to consume marijuana — and not just smoke it — as well as use other extracts and derivatives, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled today.

Especially useful for finding better ways of ingestion including using the oil to bake.

Actually, the US might be better off right now. The federal government has only decriminalised small amounts of marijuana and the Federal government wants to treat marijuana harder. So the court deciding this is a roadblock to Harper and not a big liberation moment. It's a respite to those who would see benefit from CBDs but cannot ingest it by smoke.
