Bellerophon is done!

Okay, not done in the sense of finished, because now I have to revise and swap with betas. But still, it's drafted, and that feels sooo good. 71,500 words, but it'll probably be 73-74k as I add in more description. This is the first book that I've written that has grown as I've revised, which is new for me.

I just thought I'd share, because I am truly happy right now.

Okay, part two of This Is Really Freaking Awesome.

So, I just started tweeting, and I followed Robin Hobb, because, y'know, she's awesome. Anyway, she sent out a general tweet on who was writing and I told her about my manuscript and that it was a retelling of Bellerophon. And she said: Seriously, one of my favorites! Let me know when to watch for it!

I know she's just being pleasant and all, but still! I'm a totally happy fangirl right now!

ETA: It's a pity Twitter goes away so soon. I'd like to take that tweet out and read it any time I feel sad or discouraged.

But Katharine's right. I took a week off to do my website, but now it's time to get into the editing groove again. It's a safe bet the editing fairies won't come and do it for me.
