Blue Buffalo Finally Admits By-Product Meal in a "Substantial" and "Material" Portion of their Pet F

I've had concerns about Blue Buffalo not performing feed trials with their dog and cat foods on real dogs and cats before they sold them. I hadn't thought they might do this.

"Blue Buffalo’s admission in court on May 6, 2015, that a “substantial” and “material” portion of Blue Buffalo pet food sold to consumers contained poultry byproduct meal, despite advertising claims to the contrary."

"Regardless, the results of testing and analysis reveal that, in some instances, 9 out of 10 Blue Buffalo products tested contained poultry by-product meal, even though the packaging indicated otherwise. Instead, tests indicated the products contained several signature elements of poultry by-product meal: eggshell, raw feather and leg scale. Further, that quantities of grain were found in samples of Blue Buffalo’s pet food that were labeled “grain-free.”

I switched off of Blue and to Diamond Naturals after I found out lots of things about them. One is that they are very inconsistent with their quality.
