Terrible story. Nash and his wife of almost 60 years were killed in a car wreck in New Jersey yesterday.

The Nashes were in a taxi traveling southbound in the left lane of the New Jersey Turnpike, State Police Sgt. Gregory Williams said. The driver of the Ford Crown Victoria lost control as he tried to pass a Chrysler in the center lane, crashing into a guard rail.
The Nashes were ejected from the car, Williams said.

'Tis true. I don't ride in taxis often, but somehow it seems odd to buckle up in one. I have no idea why. Terrible lesson.

Very sad. John Nash was one of the most brilliant people in history. If you have not seen the film of which he is the subject, 'A Beautiful Mind', it is well worth your time. RIP Dr. and Mrs. Nash.
