I'm wondering if anyone out there has successfully expanded their blogs to include information products like ebooks or online courses or even coaching for other writers? I'm debating doing something like this down the line with my own blog, but I wanted to see if it is a viable idea first. I've seen a few writing coach websites out there, but many of them look a little spammy, and that is definitely not the vibe I'm going for. I would love to build a business around my writing, and if I can help other writers along the way, I feel like I would be doing a lot more good than I'm currently doing at my day job.
Do people actually buy ebooks or courses from people? Does anybody really use writing coaches? I'd love to hear your experiences!
Or, if nothing else, I'd love to hear about how you all make a living? Do you all have weird day jobs? (I'm a librarian, which is much more glamorous than it sounds
