I've connected my computer via Ethernet to the internet, so I can't try the wireless option.
USB printing seems not to work.
I installed all the drivers from the HP website after I used the installation from the CD. I troubleshoot the driver. It just will not print.
It prints its configuration page fine. But any order from the computer is simply ignored. Even though it has a green tick next to it and tells me it's installed properly and all drivers are up to date.
I've been googling this for several hours now (I am not even exaggerating) and nothing works.
My computer tells me it's a USB 2.0 device and my computer only has USB 3.0 ports.
But the internet keeps telling me that should not make a difference, since they're backwards compatible. (This is the only thing Windows troubleshooter tells me though, that some USB 2.0 aren't compatible with USB 3.0)
Is there anything else I can do? Are there USB drivers I could be missing?
It's a HP Laserjet P1102w and my computer is running Windows 8.1
