I was a computer geek since 1988 until 2015
when I wrote my first draft of my third book, it is
not finished as I write this post and the other 2
are also still in draft. So far the people who have
read my books have giving me encouraging
feedback, (thanks mum).
The reason I decided to write is people have
always told me I should write a book, maybe that
was a hint they thought I have good imagination or maybe they did like the stories I told them about my life.
In a nutshell my IT skills brought me into contact
with many people and situations. In the 90’s I
found out about the Australian government
building computers to spy on its people, I also
worked with the largest Australian telcos and was
involved in setting up servers for ‘lawful
intervention’ , when the NSA spying on American
citizens came to light, it only confirmed what I
had been telling people. Apart from my
involvement the spying I also had opportunity to
work with many business owners, I got to see the
their home lives as they opened their doors to me
as their IT guy, thanks to home computers. I have
many stories to tell as my clients ranged from
doctors to lawyers and even criminals.
As a kid I never read books, my visits to the
library was to look at history stuff, a lot of maps
and newspapers.
sorry about the formatting I use a mobile to post this.
