Tyranny of the majority favors the dumber, less talented people, so anything that penetrates the collective delusion is silenced. It seems like it's controlled by high school aged kids who could talk to you about self publishing through Amazon for hours.

Not every community is a good fit for every person. Something there clearly works for their community, though.
