Hi,

At the moment I'm working on a science fiction novel. I sometimes have a break to do some short stories about various different subjects.

Just to add, I reckon there's a 50:50 chance I'm going to get laid off soon which will mean much more time for writing.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your potential job troubles, but huzzah for more writing time! I'm a fan of sci-fi as well. Good luck with your writing time!

Sorry about the job. But look at it this way... when you sell a million copies of your book, you can send a copy of your royalty check to the boss of your company with the note "thanks for making this possible."
