Greetings!

New year, new start, new forum. I haven't been on a forum in a long while so this'll be a quick introduction, but I've been lurking here for a good amount of time and thought now would be an ideal moment to register. I'm a young'un (18) from England and a self-confessed Stephen King/George Orwell/Stanley Kubrick and music nut, from Dylan to Zeppelin to all the in-between.

I'm currently in the early stage of writing my first novel (or novella, however it may play out) so hopefully 2015 will be an exciting time ahead. I write shorts too, and I dabble in screenwriting and music from time to time.

Anyway, I hope to meet all of you somewhere on the forum, and happy new year!

I like the direct approach to screenwriting, but I agree, the majority of my writing is first person but I'm looking to branch out a little soon. When I write in third I tend to ramble on quite a bit.
